  • In this round they will test your general knowledge, aptitude and Tata Company related awareness.
  • No. of Questions = 20 MCQ's.
  • Time Alotted = 20 Minutes.

    • Round 2 | Gamified Assessment

  • In this round Company will test your Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning Ability through Gamified Assessment.
  • Time Alotted = 30 Minutes.
  • Start Date: 28 Sep 23, 12:00 PM | End Date: 03 Oct 23, 11:59 PM

    • Round 3 | Idea Pitch | Idea Buddy Phase (Non-Evaluative)

    Idea Pitch Time: Start Date: 06 Oct 23, 12:00 PM | End Date:16 Oct 23, 11:59 PM

    Idea Buddy Phase Time: Start Date: 31 Oct 23, 12:00 PM | End Date: 19 Nov 23, 11:59 PM

  • Opportunity to present your idea to the Tata group through a two-minute video.
  • Explain the idea's significance and how it will bring about change.
  • Respond to three short written questions about your idea.
  • Detailed guidelines will be provided to shortlisted candidates via email.
  • The top 50 candidates with the best ideas will become Finalists.
  • Finalists will have the chance to pitch their ideas to Tata leaders.
  • Each Finalist will be paired with an Idea Buddy from Tata Group to refine their presentation for the Finale.

    • Popular Choice Awards (Non-Evaluative)

  • While the jury's evaluation holds significance, the people's preferences are also of great importance! The top 50 ideas will be open for public voting, and the three ideas that receive the highest number of votes will be rewarded with exciting prizes.

    • Round 4 | Grand Finale


  • In the ultimate stage of the Tata Imagination Challenge, present your idea to a distinguished panel of senior Tata leaders.

    Student Track:

    You are eligible for this track if:

    • You are a college-going student (undergraduate or postgraduate) from any stream in any part of India
    • You are currently a full-time student
    • You have completed 10+2 schooling or equivalent
    • You are enrolled in a regular or full-time course, undergraduate or postgraduate, in a university or college in India
    • You are pursuing courses approved by AICTE or UGC or one-year management courses approved by business schools
    • Your classes have begun for the current academic year
